Horsham, 23rd August 2015
“Fifth time lucky!” says Andy after winning the South East Open Doubles at Christ’s Hospital with ex-Oxford captain Ed Hatton. In the final they beat current CURFC player Ben Beltrami, winner last year with Ben Chua, partnering veteran Nick Geere. Two other Cambridge players figured in the semi-finals: Ed Kay and Laurence Cook who went out to Ben and Nick.
The previous day Ed Kay, the defending champion, had given British Number Two Dan Tristao a tough match in the semi-final of the Singles.
